My dad had a 65 beetle that same color a few years ago. All original, the old man that owned it before hand had wrinkled the fenders a bit trying to get in and out of the garage though. I learned stick in that thing.

Such a heartbreak when it was stolen in the night.

I drive by these every day. I am old enough to remember when beetles were everywhere, I swear half the people I know my age learned to drive on one, as it was the ubiquitous 2nd family car, cheap and reliable.  I also covet a first generation Insight, make mine red please.
